This just in...

I thought it was common knowledge that intercourse leads to pregnancy, but maybe I was wrong. I guess no one told my friends because some of them are on their THIRD baby! Personally, I choose to practice abstinence but I suppose I can't blame them because even I have found myself a little baby hungry lately. So far my only plan of action is to steal an Asian baby, preferably this one.

But I digress. I made some gifts for my aforementioned pregnant friends, and here they are. This first one was for my favorite red-headed friend Lauren and the second one was for my sister-in-law Jenny. They looked really good once I framed them, as you can see from the picture I stole from Lauren's blog. She added that bow too, which is a such a cute touch!

These were both made using the free online program Picnik. Yeah, not the best tool for doing this sort of thing which brings me to my next exciting news... I am going back to school! No, I am not getting my Masters Degree; I don't want to be too educated. Instead, I am taking a 2 day workshop on Adobe Illustrator. I already know the basics since I took a class in college but I want to know it better and learn more tips and tricks. That means if I were to design more prints like these I would have my choice of more than 3 fonts, I could make custom shapes and designs, and they wouldn't be pixelated! Hallelujah. I can't wait to take the class, hopefully it will be worth the money. Maybe my mom will even decide she still loves and cares for me and will go to the storage unit and find my Illustrator and Photoshop cd's so I can install them on my new computer. I hate to measure love in this way but it looks like it's my only choice. I'll be waiting.
